On the 15th of November, 2025 Brendan had decided to start a conference with Tom & I after I had let Brendan know of the amazing offering of the VentraIP black Friday sale where you could get any *.au domain free, for one year.

So we just started getting domains, a whole lot of them
This is the aftermath in my VentraIP account I made for this.
You also might have noticed for most of them there is a .store domain equivalent. That is because VentraIP was running ANOTHER promotion where you got a free .store domain for every .au domain you got.
Apparently Some Support Agents Did. Not. Know.
Because of an amazing fuck-up Brendan made, he had to call VentraIP to get his ID Verification sorted out. After being on the phone for a while (and presumably some awkward conversations on why someone owns about 20 .au domains)
They were not aware. Well isn’t that amazing.
After doing some math here ($40 x.store, $9.30 x.au) based on registrar prices, this is the final cost that VentraIP had to cover for Brendan, Tom & I buying those domains.
My .au’s: $139.50
My .store’s: $400.00
Tom’s .au Surprisingly, Only One: $9.30
Brendan’s .au’s: $18.60
Brendan’s .store’s: $80
Jeez, .store registration is expensive.
In total that is $647.40 AUD that we have just made VentraIP spend on these domains. I finally won something at least, most domains registered in this competition.
